Senior Executive, Trade, Cargo Flow, Long Haul

Job Responsibilities

As part of the Cargo Flow Team, you will primarily focus on space and allocation management and attending to all respective services and partners issues relating to space allocation and utilization.

Job Responsibilities include:

• Handle day to day space and allocation management and involving in all respective services and partners issues relating to space allocation and utilization
• Day to Day Management of space allocation to ensure that allvessels’ space utilization both headhaul and backhaul is at an optimal target level to maximize profit of trade services
• Liaise with agents, internal and external stakeholders on all tactical matters, including services reshuffle , vessels’ redeployment plan, phasing in/out option and port change/omissions.
• Preparation of lifting reports
• Monitor space utilization for transshipment cargo
• Review agents’ performance on space utilization efficiency
• Review & coordinate with other division stakeholders to maximize the backhaul sailing full and down with both the laden and empty container
• Optimize cargo management to ensure PnL optimization
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by your supervisor

Job Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Business or equivalent with at least 2 years of pricing analysis experience or commercial work in a large shipping firm
• Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills
• Meticulous, outgoing personality, assertive and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Able to multi-task and work independently
