Job Responsibilities
- Manage the planning for more than $500M in container assets to support PIL liner revenue
- Develop and implement container fleet plans aligned with market demand and long‑term business requirements, ensuring the optimal mix of equipment across global trades and seasonal cycles.
- Optimize container portfolio through strategic newbuilding, leasing, sales, and disposal decisions to achieve the best balance of cost, asset quality, and operational flexibility.
- Monitor global fleet size, performance KPIs, and stock levels, and provide direction to equipment flow teams and regional offices to maintain the targeted fleet profile.
- Develop container ownership and portfolio strategies, including long‑term planning, lease‑versus‑buy evaluations, and lifecycle cost optimization.
- Oversee container‑related CAPEX, OPEX, and fleet budgeting processes, including financial forecasting, investment analysis, and optimization of overall fleet spend.
Job Requirements
- Education: Diploma/Degree Holder, University qualification in Management or equivalent preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in container leasing, fleet & inventory management preferred
