Job Responsibilities
Job Summary
We are looking for a HR Data Analyst to support HR reporting, workforce analytics, HR system data management, and HR data governance. The role will combine strong Power BI and data analytics capabilities with hands-on data management and reporting experience in SAP SuccessFactors with a focus on data quality, and governance.
The role will help ensure HR data is accurate, consistent, secure, well-governed, and fit for reporting and decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Data Analytics & Reporting
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and HR reports to provide actionable workforce insights for HR and senior management.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports covering headcount, turnover, employee movements, workforce demographics, organizational structure, and other HR KPIs.
- Analyse HR data, identify trends, anomalies, and data gaps, and provide insights to HR and business stakeholders.
- Translate HR business requirements into effective reporting and analytics solutions.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of HR metrics, definitions, and reporting outputs.
- Support the development and maintenance of HR data models, reporting standards, and KPI definitions.
HR Systems Support
- Provide system support across SAP SuccessFactors modules, especially the core Employee Central.
- Administer employee, organizational, job, position, and other HR master data.
- Provide HR user training in SuccessFactors and assist in mass data imports / bulk uploads, data preparation, validation and post-upload reconciliation.
- Investigate and resolve data errors, inconsistencies, and system-related issues.
- Drive data standardisation, process improvements, implementation and adoption of system solutions involving, but not limited to, SAP SuccessFactors, AI chatbots, RPAs and Power BI
HR Data Governance
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HR Data Governance frameworks, policies, standards, and processes.
- Define and maintain HR data standards, including data definitions, ownership, quality guidelines, and validation requirements.
- Establish and monitor data quality controls across Employee Central and other HR data sources.
- Conduct regular data quality checks, audits, and reconciliations to identify duplicate, incomplete, inaccurate, or inconsistent employee data.
- Support the definition of data ownership and accountability, including HR Data Owners and Data Stewards.
- Maintain HR data dictionaries, business definitions, data standards, and governance documentation.
- Monitor data quality KPIs and develop reporting on data quality issues, trends, and remediation progress.
- Identify root causes of recurring data quality issues and work with stakeholders to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Support governance of HR data changes, including appropriate approval, validation, and audit processes.
- Ensure HR data is handled in accordance with data privacy, security, retention, and regulatory requirements.
- Support periodic HR data audits and provide evidence/documentation for internal and external compliance requirements.
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in HR analytics, HRIS, HR reporting, data management, or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- Practical experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
- Experience performing mass data imports / bulk uploads in SuccessFactors.
- Strong understanding of HR master data and employee lifecycle processes.
- Experience in data quality, data governance, data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work with confidential employee information with a high level of integrity and discretion.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Power Query, DAX, and Power BI data modelling.
- Experience developing or supporting an HR Data Governance framework.
- Knowledge of data ownership, stewardship, data quality management, and data dictionaries.
- Experience with SuccessFactors reporting and HR data extraction.
- Exposure to HRIS implementation, enhancement, migration, or integration projects.
- Understanding of data privacy and regulatory requirements relating to employee data.
- Experience working with large and complex HR datasets.
