We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Executive to join our dynamic team at PIL in Jakarta, Indonesia. Responsible for supporting the company’s finance operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, reconciliation, treasury activities, financial reporting, and compliance. The role also supports coordination with vendors, customers, banks, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and accurate financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounts Receivable & Billing
- Prepare and monitor customer invoices and billing transactions.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments.
- Ensure billing accuracy and completeness in the finance system.
- Coordinate with customers and internal departments regarding invoicing matters.
2. Accounts Payable & Vendor Management
- Support invoice verification and payment processing for vendors and operational expenses.
- Ensure payment documents are complete and compliant with company procedures.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and supporting documentation.
3. Treasury & Bank Transactions
- Monitor bank balances and support daily treasury operations.
- Handle bank transactions, fund transfers, and payment monitoring.
- Coordinate with banks and internal stakeholders regarding transaction matters.
4. Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare finance-related reports including AR/AP aging and payment monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
- Support taxation administration and audit requirements when required.
- Maintain proper finance documentation and record management.
5. System & Administrative Support
- Ensure finance data is accurately updated in the system.
- Support process improvement and coordination with shared service teams.
- Assist with general administrative duties related to finance operations when required.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or treasury functions.
- Experience in shipping, logistics, or similar industries is an advantage.
Computer Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using ERP or finance systems is preferred.
Language Skills
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of finance and accounting processes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
