We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager, Risk Management to join our dynamic team at Pacific International Lines (PIL). This role will focus on Business Continuity and Crisis Management. This role is responsible to develop, implement and operationalise Business Continuity and Crisis Management program within PIL Group. You will be a key player in driving PIL’s Integrated Assurance Framework (IAF) program, and work closely to strengthen organisational resilience and risk governance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Business Continuity & Crisis management

 

  • Develop, coordinate, implement and operationalise Incident response frameworks/plans (including classification and reporting protocols), Business Continuity and Crisis Management program (policies, frameworks, playbooks, scenarios, etc) across the group.
  • Develop, update and maintain business continuity plans, including conducting Business Impact Analysis to ensure continuity are in place.
  • Facilitate discussions and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders group wide on business continuity and crisis management matters
  • Plan, coordinate and conduct annual BCP testing program and scenario simulations / exercises across the group and divisions, in collaboration with other divisions as required
  • Responsible as Crisis Management Secretariat during crisis, to coordinate crisis management meetings / activities as necessary
  • Develop and conduct Business Continuity & Crisis Management trainings / awareness program for group wide internal stakeholders.
  • Be a business partner and assist stakeholders groupwide to identify business continuity gaps and recommend solutions.
  • Build PIL’s business continuity & crisis management culture to strengthen PIL’s operational resiliency.
  • As relevant, participate as advisor/contributor in relevant internal projects / initiatives.
  • In future, to digitalise the group’s business continuity program for improved efficiency.
  • Occasional travelling may be required.

 

Integrated Assurance Framework / Risk Management

 

  • Support in the implementation and operationalization of IAF Framework group wide.
  • Proactive engagement with stakeholders on evolving risk within each division translating high risk areas into BCP
  • Assist in facilitation of risk awareness trainings
  • Assist in preparation of routine reporting to Management Risk Committees & Audit Risk Committee
  • Assist with any other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

 

 

MUST HAVE:

 

  • Degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics or Business-related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in in business continuity and/or risk management in multinational corporation or consulting firm  
  • Experience in global or regional role, preferably in shipping, logistics, or large-scale operations will be advantageous
  • Strong understanding of business continuity and risk frameworks (e.g ISO 22301, 31000, COSO) and best practices
