The Commercial Marketing Manager is responsible for developing compelling marketing materials, brand‑aligned content, and sales enablement assets to support the company’s commercial objectives. This role strengthens the company’s commercial value proposition by equipping Sales and Customer Service teams with impactful tools that enhance customer engagement and drive revenue growth. The Senior Manager will collaborate closely with the Corporate Communications Department to ensure brand consistency, aligned messaging, and coordinated execution across all customer‑facing channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Governance
• Establish commercial marketing frameworks, guidelines, and quality standards across global offices.
• Partner with Corporate Communications to ensure brand governance, alignment of messaging, and integrated campaign execution.
• Serve as the subject‑matter expert for commercial marketing, advising regional teams on best practices and effective customer engagement methods.
Campaign & Content Excellence
• Oversee content planning, production schedules, communication timelines, and global distribution of materials.
• Ensure digital‑ready formats and omnichannel usability (web, email, social, sales channels).
Cross‑functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Trade, Commercial, Customer Service, Pricing, Corporate Communications, and Digital teams to ensure messaging accuracy and strategic alignment.
• Drive adoption and usage of marketing assets across regional teams.
People and Capability Building
• Mentor team members in GCC in marketing strategy, visual storytelling, and commercial communications.
• Promote a customer‑centric culture and strengthen marketing competencies across commercial functions.
• Lead the development, design, and production of marketing collaterals including product brochures, trade lane highlights, customer presentations, service announcements, digital content, and campaign materials etc.
• Maintain updated and market‑ready marketing toolkits to support Sales and Customer Service teams globally.
• Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to ensure messaging is relevant and commercially impactful.
• Develop standardized templates and storytelling formats to ensure consistency across regional commercial teams.
• Ensure that all marketing deliverables reinforce the container line’s brand positioning and commercial strategy.
• Support the launch of new services, trade lanes, and commercial initiatives with integrated marketing assets.
MUST HAVE:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in marketing, ideally within shipping, logistics, transportation, or B2B services.
• Proven ability to produce professional‑grade marketing collaterals and customer‑ready content.
• Strong understanding of commercial operations, sales processes, and customer communication dynamics.
• Experience working with creative agencies, design teams, or in‑house creative production.
• Familiarity with container shipping services, trade lane dynamics, and commercial models is a strong advantage.
• Certifications in Digital Marketing, Content Marketing, or Brand Management.
• Proficiency in design or marketing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CRM platforms).
• Training in storytelling, B2B marketing strategy, or customer engagement techniques.
