Job Responsibilities

Day to day management of space allocation to ensure that all vessels’ space utilization both headhaul and backhaul is at an optimal target level to maximize profit of trade services
Liaise with agents, internal and external stakeholders on all tactical matters, including services reshuffle, vessels’ redeployment plan, phasing in/out option and port change/omissions.
Review & coordinate with other division stakeholders to maximize the backhaul sailing full and down with both the laden and empty container
Work closely with Agencies in obtaining forecast, pre-loading list, rollover cargo selection, space utilization.
Daily Utilization Recap - monitoring of bookings at respective ports, redistribution of allocations if necessary.
Monitoring of connections at transshipment Hub to reduce dwell time
Proposal & discussion with Cargo Pricing Team (CPT) on schedule recovery, managing of long dwell, cargo mix and low utilization.
Monitoring of schedule and follow-up with Ops, Network & CPT on schedule recovery.
Close coordination with Logistic Team (EMD) to ensure healthy equipment status at respective IA ports.
User Acceptance Test (UAT) for any system changes
Highlight underperform POLs to CPT to take pricing and BSA adjustment
Services full on weight work with CPT to drive lighter cargo fm alternate origins
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by your supervisor

Degree/Diploma in Business or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience in a large shipping firm
Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint
Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills
Meticulous, outgoing personality, assertive and ability to work under tight deadlines
Able to multi-task and work independently
