We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Executive, Technical MNR to join our Logistics team at Pacific International Lines (PIL). You will work with the team to implement processes to control MNR costs and ensure critical safety standards are adhered to across all container maintenance operations. You will conduct on-site audits to the depot, and to work on analysing data to identify trends and provide insights to improve processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement processes to control MNR cost and enforce critical safety standards across all container maintenance operations
- Leverage technical knowledge of industry defined container inspection and repair standards, IICL, ISO, CSC, etc. to review and approve container repair estimates from global PIL offices
- Organize and perform onsite audit of newbuilding factories, depots and repairers to ensure containers are manufactured, maintained and repair in accordance to industry standards and PIL specification
- Data analysis on repairs, identifying trends, provide insights to improve processes
- Drive collection of 3rd party MNR recoveries from liable parties that are responsible for damaging PIL containers
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements
MUST HAVE:
- Degree in relevant disciplines such as Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of relevant expertise in container inspection, repair and manufacturing
- Experience in data analysis and cost management will be a plus
