We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Executive, Global Treasury (Cash Management) to join our dynamic team at Pacific International Lines (PIL). This role plays a critical role to support the treasury team in managing the company’s financial resources, ensuring sufficient cash flow, effective risk management, and compliance with treasury policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liquidity Management: Assist in the preparation and analysis of global cash flow forecasts and ensuring funding of all payments.
- Cash Management: Support day-to-day cash management activities, including monitoring account balances and managing intercompany fund transfers.
- Yield Management: Negotiate independently with Banks for improvement of fixed deposit and CASA rates.
- Counterparty Risk Management: Review counterparty risk for the cash management banks and recommend fixed deposit placement limits.
- Process Improvement and Reporting: Assist in implementation of new process improvement projects. Develop and revise the process to enhance improvement. Eliminate unnecessary processes.
- Bank Account Management: Review and recommend the optimal bank account structure including bank signatory structure and negotiating the transactional fees with the banks independently. Collaborate with Regional finance controllers to optimize the bank account structure.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to internal controls, treasury policies, and external regulations. To share and train overseas finance managers to be proficient in the relevant treasury policies.
- Lead in Kyriba and H2H Implementation: Take the lead in driving Kyriba implementation in 7 countries and the host-to-host connectivity for the phase 2 countries (4 countries)
- Support Strategic Projects: Working with internal teams and coordinating for all bank account review/set up, structuring bank signatories, H2H connectivity relating new company set up.
- Perform other financial responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
MUST HAVE:
- Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Economicis or Business-related discipline
- Minimum 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in treasury or related area
- Basic understanding of cash flow management, financial instruments and banking operations
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with Kyriba is highly preferred.
