We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our dynamic team in Kampala, Uganda.
The core responsibility for the successful candidate will be to acquire both export and import sales volumes along with other set KPI’s.
Key Responsibilities
1. Main Responsibilities
- Work on commercial report preparation and editing.
- Conduct data analysis and derive proper sales leads.
- Should have knowledge on the usage and tools such as CRM / LMS systems.
- Secure both import and Export business
- Follow up with import Manifest and secure import TBL conversions.
- Generating sales leads with key accounts and converting them to customers.
- Work hand in hand with both import and export documentation team to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential import and export clients and market trends.
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance in freight rates and ensuring work orders are issued according to the agreed rates with vendors.
- Update and reviewing freight contracts to ensure rates are accurately filled timely after freight is confirmed by client.
- Managing and resolving freight discrepancies to maintain operational efficiency.
- Issuing Freight Correction Advice (FCA) to rectify any errors and ensure accurate billing.

1. Personality Traits
- Should be a quick learner and able to adapt to company systems and work environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong ownership mindset
- Knowledgeable about shipping and logistic market trends.
- Results-driven and able to handle high operational pressure / multitasking
- Team player, with strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Should be self-driven and work with limited supervision
2. Qualification & Experience Required
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Experiences: A minimum of five (5) years’ experience within sales or customer service role in shipping or logistics or related discipline
3. Professional Skill Sets
- Adept in data-driven analytics
- Familiar in shipping network, market trends
- Good communication and interpersonal skill, able to manage cultural diversity
- Should be a good team player

b) Ability to study the market trends and make use of them to improve sales.
c) Coordinate intermodal business
