We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our dynamic team at PIL in Jakarta, Indonesia. Responsible for driving sales, building customer relationships, and promoting the company's services to achieve revenue targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate leads and identify potential customers through various channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to meet their requirements and support their KPIs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth implementation and define customer service strategies.
- Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to uncover new business opportunities and shape effective sales strategies.
- Prepare and present sales data, reports, and statistics for weekly reviews.
- Conduct customer visits and presentations to understand needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure mutual satisfaction and profitability.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively address any issues or concerns.
- Support marketing initiatives and campaigns to promote services and attract new clients.
- Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to expand market reach.
MUST HAVE:
Experience:
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of working experience in international shipping / freight-forwarding
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with strong business correspondence skills.
- Solid understanding of cross trade—especially Intra-Asia (e.g., Korea)—as well as shipments, DG Cargoes, and Certificate of Origin (CoO) procedures.
- Excellent communication and confident decision-making abilities.
- Tech-savvy and proficient in using systems and digital tools to support sales activities.
