We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional IT Manager (Information Systems Department Lead) to join our team in Santiago, Chile. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role as the team lead for the end-user support team, supporting offices, agents, and subsidiaries in system implementation, operation, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
Main Responsibilities
- Perform helpdesk and IT support operations.
- Provide strong follow-up and effective communication with internal users through in-person and phone support, as needed.
- Align and coordinate with headquarters to standardize end-user computing (EUC) practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of critical issues.
- Recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Manage and coach the helpdesk team to develop the necessary proficiency and skills for successful operations and support.
MUST HAVE:
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Alternatively, a diploma with 7-8 years of relevant IT experience.
- Minimum of two years in a managerial role, such as a Help Desk Manager or in technical support.
- Proficiency in IT service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, or Zendesk).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365 administration, and endpoint management tools (e.g., Microsoft Intune, SCCM).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity practices, including firewalls, VPNs, endpoint security, and patch management.
- Experience in network troubleshooting (e.g., LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi) and using diagnostic tools.
- Understanding of ITIL frameworks for incident and change management.
- Ability to analyze and resolve system performance issues.
