We are seeking a detail-oriented and process driven Finance Analyst – AP & Cost Controlling to join our dynamic team at PIL in Lima, Peru to support the Oracle GFS rollout at the country level, with a primary focus on Accounts Payable (AP), Cost Controlling, Intercompany/ASA flow reconciliation, Rate/Tariff updates, and control of AP open transactions. The role requires strong alignment with statutory accounting principles and local tax compliance, contributing directly to both implementation and post-Go Live operational finance tasks. This is an operational finance role requiring strong organization, persistence, and attention to detail, but no mandatory English proficiency spoken.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the configuration and functional testing of Oracle modules: AP, GL
- Validate localization settings for taxes, invoices, vendors, and cost centers
- Coordinate with Outsourcing or Offshore support teams to resolve AP issues
- Support monthly closing processes, AP reconciliations, and vendor aging reports
- Monitor cost allocation complianceDocument workflows, SOPs, and testing traceability for audit readiness
- Engage in PB1 and UAT cycles with accountability for defect resolution
Key Accountabilities – Post Go-Live (Finance Operations):
- Post-Go-Live Stabilization: Participate in hypercare activities to ensure functional and compliance success.
- Provide training and ongoing support to end-users during and after the implementation
- Execute operational finance tasks across AP and Reporting using Oracle GFS as main tool
- Perform accurate month-end closings, reconciliations, and AP Subledger processing
- Ensure tax declarations and compliance with local reporting obligations
- Maintain process documentation, support audits, and drive operational excellence
- Collaborate with LARO and HQ Finance teams for performance reporting and improvements
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- 3+ years of experience in finance operations and ERP Oracle or SAP environments
- Familiarity with AP, GL and Tax modules.
- Strong Excel proficiency.
- Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written); native in local language as applicable
- Proactive, process-driven, and detail-oriented with good communication skills

- Familiarity with maritime transportation services, cargo loading and unloading operations, and global logistics processes.
- Understanding of international trade and maritime transport terms and regulations.
