We are seeking a proactive Operations Executive to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will oversee end-to-end vessel and port operations, ensuring smooth coordination, compliance, and cost efficiency. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage voyage planning, terminal activities, documentation for special cargo, and performance monitoring, all while maintaining the highest operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Voyage Coordination
- Ensure timely communication of voyage instructions to all relevant stakeholders before vessel arrival.
- Manage all activities from vessel arrival to departure, ensuring compliance with operational standards.
Port & Terminal Operations
- Monitor vessel progress and terminal operations, including departure reports and productivity metrics.
Update operational systems (e.g., LMS) with accurate and timely data to meet local and global KPIs. - Monitor REEFER container utilization.
Planning & Documentation
- Plan and manage all aspects of port calls, including coordination with agents, ports, and headquarters.
- Prepare documentation for special cargo (e.g., DG, reefer, OOG) and ensure compliance with regulations.
Performance Monitoring
- Track live operations, terminal productivity, and vessel turnaround times against proforma schedules.
- Identify and report inefficiencies (e.g., crane stoppages, port closures) and escalate issues promptly.
Cost & Compliance
- Supervise day-to-day operations to minimize costs and ensure zero deficiencies in voyage performance.
- Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational challenges.
MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Maritime, Logistics, or related field.
- Previous experience in shipping or logistics operations preferred.
- Strong knowledge of container liner operations, vessel handling, and port regulations.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in liner shipping or related operations.
- Proficiency in operational systems and Microsoft Office tools.

This position is open to candidates who are currently based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and have the legal right to work, including the ability to transfer their visa sponsorship. Applicants who are not currently in Riyadh but are willing to relocate and work there will also be considered. Candidates who do not meet these criteria will not be considered.
