Key Responsibilities:
- Project - Manage and anchor transversal projects involving diverse stakeholders within GCAM and across business units (such as Project Navigate and LMS Re-modelling). Oversee the collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and define key business metrics.
- Budget - Manage and coordinate the full annual budget cycle. Coordinate with Finance teams and departments heads to define budget parameters, assumptions, gather inputs, validate forecast and ensure alignment. Monitor budget adherence throughout the fiscal year, identifying variances and recommend actionable insights.
- Business/Data Analytics and Reporting Tools - Manage and anchor the implementation and roll out of Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g. Power BI). Collaborate with IT, business units and data governance teams to define requirements and coordinate seamless integration with existing systems. Oversee the development and design of complex interactive and visually appealing dashboards, reports and self-service analytics capabilities customised for various business metrics and KPIs. Oversee and coordinate proliferation for ANM, including improving analytical/working tools. Oversee and coordinate ANM, Regional offices and Agency offices training sessions. Coordinate and support strategic initiatives with ad hoc reports extraction, analysis and decision support.
- Revenue Drivers - Manage and monitor analytical needs for ANM performance parameters such as Detention and Demurrage performance, Local Revenue management, M&A and Cost Plus Benefits. Budget execution - Analyse and present periodic reports with complex variance and trend analysis, recommend actionable insights and execute decisions.
- Agency Scorecard - Oversee and manage the development and implementation of the Agency KPI scorecards and dashboard encompassing all business units and departments. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, define and refine KPIs. Collect, validate and analyse performance data and measure against set targets to track agency performance. Analyse and present periodic reports with actionable insights, and collaborate with stakeholders to execute performance improvement plans.
- Efficiency - Revenue & Cost Savings - Collaborate with the Logistics Efficiency Programme team on revenue and cost submissions to the programme. Propose annual budget targets for applicable categories such as Local Revenue, Detention & Demurrage, etc. Collect, validate and analyse the efficiencies to track performance. Prepare, present and analyse periodic reports, recommend for actionable insights.
- Communication & Administrative - Manage and coordinate the issuance of ANM circulars to update the agency network on policies, tariff & surcharges, shipment restrictions, agency organisation setup/relocation/structure, appointment of key personal at agencies, etc. Plan and validate the schedule, collaborate with business units and departments, and oversee the quarterly onboarding of key agency personal. Oversee and manage on the quarterly litigation case reports, and review with Legal. Validate the various distribution list/channels for the agency network.
MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably with business or data analytical certifications
- 5 - 10 years of relevant experience
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior working experience in maritime or shipping industry is a MUST.
