Job Responsibilities
Job Summary: The Trade Manager (TM) is responsible for overseeing trade management strategies and operations within the Long-Haul division, focusing on one of PIL key operating market. The TM will lead the development and execution of trade lanes, full responsible for operating services profitability and utilization. This role involves high-level decision-making, market analysis, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to drive the company's market position and achieve financial targets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement trade strategies to maximize profitability and efficiency
- Manage and evaluate trade lane performance, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Oversee the CPT + CFMT teams and lead them as per the trade guidance.
- Coordinate and work with both internal customers (other departments and FLOs) and external customers (core BCO/IFF), to ensure PIL trade strategy being carried our properly.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the trade management team.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and strategic innovation
- Represent the division in both internal or external meetings when needed.
Job Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in trade management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities
- Adaptable to changing market conditions and resilient under pressure
- In-depth knowledge of international trade and market analysis
- Proficient in communication, presentation and analytics tools
