We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Logistics Executive to join our Equipment Management team at the Regional Office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient control and movement of containers across various locations, supporting regional logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive in managing container inventory, coordinating with stakeholders, and responding to dynamic supply and demand conditions. You will play a key role in optimizing container utilization, improving forecast accuracy, and driving operational efficiency through data analysis and strategic planning.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage PIL’s regional container inventory, including balances, utilization, and dwell time.
  • Distribute containers in the most optimal and cost-efficient way to meet forecasted demand.
  • Liaise with stakeholders on empty container positioning, space availability, and quantity requirements.
  • Monitor container forecasts and provide feedback to improve accuracy.
  • Plan contingency container supply in response to unplanned changes in supply or demand.
  • Manage idle full and empty containers to ensure timely turnaround and reuse.
  • Analyze container movements and activities to improve management efficiency.
  • Handle ad hoc container-related issues within the assigned region.

 

MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in container control, equipment management, or logistics operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and logistics management systems.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills across diverse teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
