We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Process Improvement Specialist  to join our dynamic Operations Transformation Regional team at PIL. The successful candidate will act as a key enabler of the regional innovation agenda and HQ programs, providing the structure, governance, and discipline required to make transformation sustainable. Support the execution of strategic pillars: 

  • Standardization to Scale: Harmonize agency and regional processes for consistency.
  • Sustain through Enablement: Drive global initiatives ensuring alignment between the region and HQ.
  • Strengthen Ways of Working: Embed collaboration, governance, and best practices to improve performance.

 

This role ensures that regional priorities and global initiatives are successfully localized and adopted across LATAM.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the regional innovation roadmap and enable HQ-led programs, ensuring alignment with business growth objectives.
  • Manage transformation projects: master plan, RAID, milestones, dependencies, governance, and executive reporting.
  • Harmonize processes across countries, defining regional standards and core vs. local matrices (SOP/RACI, version control).
  • Define and monitor KPIs, activate improvement plans, and ensure measurable impact.
  • Coordinate stakeholders (countries, SSC, HQ), manage expectations, and resolve conflicts using data.
  • Lead initiatives to strengthen ways of working, empowering teams with best practices and tools for productivity.
  • Support knowledge transfer and readiness criteria for operational handovers and hypercare phases.

 

Skills & qualifications

 

  • 5+ years in process improvement / BPM / PMO / Project Management.
  • Experience managing multi-stakeholder projects in dynamic environments.
  • Ability to document processes and create actionable SOPs/RACIs.
  • Metrics-driven mindset (define KPIs, track progress, close gaps).
  • Proficiency in Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides, Visio/Miro/Bizagi; organized work in SharePoint/Drive, MS Project/Planner, or similar tools (Asana, ClickUp, Smartsheet, Jira).
  • Advanced English (presentations and coordination with HQ).

  • Exposure to freight transport (shipping/aviation) or Shared Services.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean/Kaizen/PDCA or Process Mining tools.
