We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Oracle Project Manager to join our Regional team in Santiago, Chile. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role, acting as the bridge between regional business/finance teams and the Oracle ERP system, ensuring that business requirements are accurately captured, translated into system solutions, and successfully implemented, while supporting configuration, testing, training, and stakeholder alignment across countries. The Oracle Project Manager's purpose is to make sure the new Oracle ERP solution works for the business, not just in theory, but in practice, across all regional operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oracle ERP Functional Support:
- Assist in gathering and analysing business requirements across Oracle modules (e.g., Financials – AP, AR, FA, GL & CM, AGIS).
- Support configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
- Document functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams for solution alignment.
- Project Coordination & Delivery:
- Support project planning, milestone tracking, and coordination across stakeholders.
- Monitor progress, manage risks, and escalate issues as needed.
- Maintain project documentation and prepare regular status updates.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaise between business users, IT teams, and external vendors.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ensure clear and timely communication across all parties.
- In-House System Learning & Training Support:
- Proactively learn internal systems and tools to support project execution and user training.
- Assist in developing training materials and conducting onboarding sessions for business users.
- Act as a point of contact for functional queries related to both Oracle and in-house systems.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Support system integration testing (SIT) and UAT phases.
- Ensure adherence to documentation standards, governance protocols, and change control processes.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
- Stay updated on Oracle ERP best practices and contribute to knowledge sharing
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS) or related fields.
- Industry Experience: 6-10 years’ experience working with Oracle ERP (cloud or E-Business Suite) in finance-related modules (e.g., GL, AP, AR, FA, CM). Hands-on experience in ERP implementation, configuration, testing, and functional support.
- Proven background in business requirements gathering, process analysis, and functional documentation. Experience in project coordination/delivery within ERP or financial system implementations.
- Exposure to regional or multi-country operations (so they understand complexity of localization, currencies, tax, compliance).
- Nice to have : Oracle ERP certification, certification in ERP/Project Management or Scrum Master
