We are looking for an experienced and driven Key Accounts Manager to join our Regional Office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will manage strategic customer relationships, including International Freight Forwarders (IFF) and Beneficial Cargo Owners (BCO), ensuring exceptional service delivery and driving business growth. You will play a key part in aligning account strategies with PIL’s global objectives, negotiating competitive freight solutions, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver seamless shipping experiences across trade lanes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Account Management

  • Act as the primary liaison for key accounts, ensuring strong relationships and high customer satisfaction.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide tailored shipping solutions across PIL trade lanes.

 

Business Development

  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and secure new business in line with company targets.
  • Negotiate freight rates, service agreements, and contracts to optimize profitability.

 

Strategic Planning

  • Develop account plans and forecasts based on trade trends and customer needs.
  • Monitor market conditions, competitor activities, and industry developments to support strategic decisions.

 

Operational Coordination

  • Work closely with other business units Trade/Commercial/Logistics as well as frontline agencies to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
  • Resolve service issues promptly and maintain high operational standards.

 

Performance Monitoring

  • Track account performance against KPIs (volume, revenue, profitability) and report regularly to management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

 

MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics account management.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of global trade lanes, container shipping, and freight pricing.
  • Able to travel to countries under MARO to visit the Key Accounts.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
