The Finance Manager will oversee all financial activities within PIL Saudi Arabia, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective budgeting, and compliance with local and international financial regulations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to lead a finance team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to senior management.
- Support strategic initiatives with financial modeling and analysis.
Accounting & Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Saudi Arabian Financial Reporting Standards (SAFRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to regulatory authorities, including the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) and Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA).
Compliance & Controls:
- Maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws, labor regulations, and other relevant legislation.
- Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors to facilitate the audit process.
Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity for operational needs.
- Optimize working capital through effective management of receivables, payables, and inventory.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to enhance their skills and performance.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the department.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives and provide financial insights.
- Communicate financial performance and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
MUST HAVE:
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
- Experience working in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf region is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian Financial Reporting Standards (SAFRS) and local tax regulations.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Effective leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Arabic are advantageous.
