Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible in managing the logistics activities for the customer and provide guidance to the team, ensuring that the customer's service requirements and needs are met.

 

  • Ensure all logistics/operations activities are performed in the most effective and efficient manner to ensure the customer and Company KPIs are achieved
  • Respond to customer enquiries and resolve non-conformance or discrepancies promptly and accurately
  • Lead and provide guidance to the team to ensure high service standards and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct training/ briefing to the team to ensure customers' requirements and requests are understood
  • Prepare weekly / monthly reports and present the findings to the customers
  • Bi-yearly review and update of the department working instructions and SOP
  • Responsible for data integrity and confidentiality of customer information
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • 4-5 years of experience in freight forwarding/ logistics/ transportation with proven track record of leadership in managing staff
  • Customer service oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good analytical and problem solving ability
  • Knowledge in shipping documents ie. letter of credit, bill of lading etc
  • Familiar with Warehouse Management System
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
