Deputy Manager (Ports & Terminal Procurement)

Job Responsibilities
- Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with third-party feeder vendors to ensure reliable supply and quality service.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure the best terms and conditions, focusing on cost reduction and service improvement.
- Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize the pipelines and reduce costs.
- Driving Efficiency: Identify areas of improvement and convert them into cost savings.
- System Enhancements: Drive system enhancements to upscale invoicing controls and improve visibility of cost to revenue.
- Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Data Analysis: Analyze procurement data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including operations, trade, finance, and logistics teams, to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- System Enhancements: Work with internal stakeholders to system enhancements
- Budget and Cost Control: Oversee budget management and cost control measures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a maritime, business, supply chain
- At least 4-5 years of experience in feeder procurement-related roles.
- Strong negotiation abilities to secure favorable terms.
- Ability to analyze market trends and problem solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in excel and powerpoint
