The Deputy Manager, Sales drives export sales performance through targeted strategies, account management for key customers, and ensuring operational alignment to meet commitments. Will focuses on preparing accurate monthly reports, analyzing market trends, and providing strategic insights to support sales decisions. Additionally, the position requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain competitiveness and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting & Market Insights
• Prepare and deliver accurate monthly reports on COC services for the assigned trade anchor.
• Analyze market developments, identify emerging trends, and provide timely updates and recommendations to the Head of Sales.
Sales Performance
• Drive achievement of export sales targets in alignment with overall organizational goals.
• Develop, implement, and monitor strategies to maximize revenue and profitability across assigned accounts and trade lanes.
• Ensure seamless alignment between sales execution and operational support to deliver on customer commitments.
Account Management
• Manage and strengthen relationships with the top 20% of customers contributing to 80% of overall volume.
• Provide tailored support and engagement to ensure high customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align sales initiatives with organizational objectives and resolve any challenges that may impact performance.
• Represent sales interests in internal discussions to ensure market competitiveness and customer responsiveness.
MUST HAVE:
- Diploma or related qualification in Logistic/Transportation, Business Studies, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years (s) of working experience in the shipping or logistics field
- Good to have the expertise for reefer and OOG.
