We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Head of Sales to lead our Sales and Marketing strategy for PIL Hong Kong. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, strengthening customer engagement and supporting company’s commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve volume targets and revenue growth.
Proactively engage with key customers to secure stable and long-term cargo support.
Work closely with HQ and overseas agencies to stay aligned with core markets and optimize local sales strategies.
Provide data-driven insights and commercial recommendations to management and key stakeholders to support business expansion.
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team; Set KPIs and performance management.
Ensure full implementation and adherence to all relevant digital tools and CRM systems to optimize customer engagement and pipeline management.

MUST HAVE:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sale & Marketing, Shipping, Logistics or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in container/liner shipping, freight forwarding or related industry.
Hands-on experience in commercial and sales functions, with a strong focus on driving business growth.
Familiarity with the challenges and opportunities in emerging markets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively at all levels.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire teams and drive change effectively.
Fluent in Mandarin, English and Cantonese.
Possession of strong analytical thinking, strategic problem-solving abilities.
