We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Invoicing Agent to join our team at PIL Côte d’Ivoire in Abidjan.This individual will be responsible for preparing and issuing invoices related to local charges, demurrage, detention, delivery, and deposits while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies.The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and committed to delivering accurate financial documentation and seamless coordination with internal teams to maintain strong operational performance.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

•    Prepare, verify, and issue invoices for local charges, demurrage, detention, delivery, and deposit.
•    Ensure all invoices are accurate, properly supported, and compliant with customer agreements.
•    Perform recurrent reconciliation exercises to ensure billing accuracy and system integrity.
•    Update billing and accounting systems in a timely and accurate manner.
•    Collaborate with Operations, Documentation, and Finance teams to ensure billing readiness.
•    Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and customer billing queries promptly.
•    Provide regular reports and updates on invoicing status and outstanding items.
•    Support month-end closing activities and reporting related to invoicing and revenue.
•    Maintain proper filing and documentation of all invoicing records.
•    Contribute to process improvements aimed at enhancing billing efficiency and accuracy.

 

 

MUST HAVE:

•    Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, invoicing, or documentation, ideally within the shipping/logistics sector.
•    Familiarity with import/export procedures and invoicing.
•    Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks with accuracy.
•    Customer-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
•    Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information.
•    Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
•    Team spirit and adaptability.
