We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Manager to join our dynamic team in Ecuador. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service functions to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement country-level sales strategies to grow market share and revenue across imports and exports.
- Lead the local sales team, ensuring the achievement of business targets and individual KPIs.
- Utilize market insights to create targeted strategies for different customer segments.
- Strengthen client relationships through joint sales visits with sales representatives and channel partners.
- Monitor sales pipelines via the CRM system to track leads, deals, and follow-ups.
- Ensure the CRM captures all sales opportunities, preventing any missed prospects.
- Collaborate closely with Regional Office and Headquarters to align local activities with global policies.
- Prepare and analyze market statistics, including competitive intelligence.
- Submit monthly marketing and performance reports to Headquarters.
- Oversee forecasting and budgeting activities to align with the company’s business objectives.
- Collaborate with the Credit Control team to manage customer accounts and payments.
- Monitor and manage cargo movements, focusing on laden long-dwelling cargo.
- Work closely with operations teams to offer seamless intermodal solutions to customers.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in the CRM by maintaining up-to-date customer records.
MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in trade, sales, and marketing within the container/liner shipping or logistics industry.
- Expertise in customer relationship management, port/terminal operations, and equipment management.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience in driving cross-functional collaboration.
