We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager, Logistics (Togo) to join our dynamic team at PIL. This role requires a proactive and customer-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of the shipping industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop tailored logistics solutions to meet client needs and requirements.
Build coherent business cases for new commercial products and initiatives, and promote these internally in order to develop the business.
Maintain relationships with existing clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
Proactively identify, pursue and maintain a constant pipeline of potential leads, and develop a diverse portfolio of customers
Collaborate with other teams in PIL to ensure service delivery meets client expectations.
Prepare estimates and respond to tenders/RFQ
Take the lead in negotiating and closing deals by uncovering and addressing objections/ concerns from the customer.
Work in a blended role of operations and sales, in a collaborative office environment.
Manage complex transactional or emotional customer situations promptly.

MUST HAVE:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the logistics sector, shipping, or trucking industry, preferably in Sales or Business Development
Minimum of 2 years sales experience with a proven track record in generating profitable revenue growth
Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
Ability to work independently and under pressure while representing the company in a professional manner.
