This position responsible for assisting to manage and oversee the running of the warehouse both in terms of Safety as well as Operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Participation in routine HSE inspection of worksite, to ensure compliance to safety regulations
- Conduct periodic review of relevant Risk Assessment
- Conduct monthly Toolbox meetings.
- Promote HSE culture in the workplace.
- Supervise general upkeep of building, equipment and vehicles.
- Ensure all necessary certifications for building, equipment and vehicles are up to date.
- Coordination with logistics vendors / Container and Lighterage Terminals (entry and exit documentations).
- Able to run daily operations of the warehouse as backup.
- Assist with customs import permit declaration
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned
MUST HAVE:
- Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or Facilities Management
- 5 years’ experience relevant experience.
- Certification with SC401 (Singapore Customs) as a declarant preferred
- WHSE certifications preferred
