We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant/Manager, Business Development to join our dynamic team at PIL. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving business growth and expansion within the logistics sector, with a specific focus on freight forwarding.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities within the logistics sector, focusing on both local and international markets.
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential growth areas.

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Work closely with clients to understand their needs and offer tailored logistics solutions.
Ensure customer satisfaction through continuous engagement and exceptional service delivery.

Market Expansion:

Lead the exploration and penetration of new markets, particularly in emerging regions where PIL Logistics can establish a strong presence.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products and services.

Entrepreneurial Initiatives:

Innovate and drive business initiatives that enhance the company’s competitive edge.
Identify and mitigate risks while maximizing opportunities for business growth.
Foster a culture of entrepreneurship within the team, encouraging creative problem-solving and agile decision-making.

Operational Involvement:

Work closely with the operations team to ensure the seamless execution of business development strategies.
Participate in the planning and management of projects to ensure they align with business objectives.

MUST HAVE:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles within the logistics or supply chain industry.
Experience in freight forwarding is essential.
Proven track record of growing a business or division with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
