Manage full spectrum of HO AR activities and support ongoing finance transformation efforts.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end AR processes across regional offices and HO business units.
  • Ensure timely billing, receipts and journals postings for all HO activities.
  • Monitor aging reports and drive resolution of overdue balances through effective follow-up and escalation protocols.
  • Coordinate with partners (MLOs) on offset proposals, SOA reconciliations, netting settlements and timely collection.
  • Manage billing, collections, cashflow, and reconciliations for charter hire agreements.
  • Provide SOAs to AP team for netting purposes.
  • Coordinate with GFSU on payment receipts and maintain updated cash flow records.
  • Analyze group AR performance, and drive improvements through KPI tracking.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve disputes and align receivables strategies.

Month-End Closing Activities:

  • Prepare AR schedules, SOAs, transaction listings for accruals and supporting documentation for month-end closing and ensure compliance.
  • Conduct variance analysis and contribute to debtor meetings and financial presentations.
  • Assist in quarterly Expected Credit Loss (ECL) calculations and provision reviews.

Other Financial Duties:

  • Review and coordinate customer refund pther rocesses and payment arrangements with the AP team.
  • Validate withholding tax (WHT), bank charges, and write-offs in GFS with appropriate approvals.
  • Drive credit management improvements and monitor global policy compliance.
  • Maintain and promote internal controls and standardized AR and credit control procedures to ensure consistent application of best practices globally.
  • Collaborate with finance transformation team to enhance AR workflows · Participate in UAT and system enhancements activities.
  • Address auditors’ queries and provide necessary schedules, reports, or documentation as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MUST HAVE:

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, ACCA qualification or equivalent. in any discipline
  • Min 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably within shipping or/and logisitics industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial and accounting pricipals
  • Execllent analytical and problem-solving skills
